AZERBAIJAN
Wandering the streets of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, I could trace the city’s rich history through its diverse architecture. The Old City district showcased buildings from centuries past, remnants of the Cold War era were evident in Soviet-style structures, and the recent oil boom brought about hyper-modern skyscrapers.
A highlight of my trip was visiting Nakhchivan, an autonomous republic of Azerbaijan. The places we explored felt surreal, with scarcely any other visitors. The locals we encountered were enthusiastic about a tourist visiting their region. Overall, my trip to Azerbaijan was a fantastic opportunity to explore a beautiful and less-visited area.

SINGAPORE
When I think of Singapore, I remember the vibrant lights, the enticing aroma of food, and the cleanliness of the streets. This city-state, with its towering skyscrapers along the bay and charming cultural neighborhoods, truly has something for everyone. Traveling on their efficient and affordable MRT, stopping at boutique tea and coffee shops, exploring numerous malls, and enjoying breathtaking views along the bay and hillside, I developed a deep appreciation for the city’s atmosphere and beauty. To me, Singapore will always be a remarkable oasis in Southeast Asia.

CUBA
Visiting Cuba is like stepping into a time capsule, where the vibrant colors and intricate designs of its beautiful buildings tell stories of a bygone era. Over the decades, these architectural gems have experienced significant deterioration, a silent testament to the passage of time and economic challenges. Despite this, the country’s charm remains undeniable, with its streets echoing the lively rhythms of the past. Beyond the cities, Cuba’s countryside unfolds a breathtaking panorama of natural beauty, with lush landscapes and untouched nature providing a serene contrast to the urban decay, making the entire experience both nostalgic and enchanting.
